Do what you love, love what you do...

My name is Simona and I am the head dog trainer at Pawsome & Fit. I come from central Europe and my whole life revolves around dogs. I have been very close to dogs since I was a child, and despite the fact that in my childhood there was a period when we did not have any, I was always in the environment where there were dogs. As I grew up, my interest in dogs grew and so I began to educate myself about dog training, breeding, and other things related to them.

Some of the keypoints of my life...

To dedicate my life to dogs was the best decision I could have done. I love to help people to understand their dogs and teach them how to work with their furry friends so that they have a happy life together. During my career I had the opportunity to meet a number of dogs and their owners, who are now my loyal clients and many of them became good friends.

It all started in 2010

My professional journey began in 2010 when I started as a dogwalker and a dogsitter. Because I always cared for packs of dogs, I had to learn how to work with them and to understand the relationships between human and dog and dog vs dog. I have worked for many well-known and honorable breeders and dog show judges, which was a great experience and an opportunity to educate myself.

Moving from Europe to USA

This huge step in my life was an opportunity to gain new experiences and move forward as a dog trainer. I became a student of the Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) program, which is covered by the University of Tennessee, and I successfully completed it.

I am here for you...

My heart rests with the breed Labrador Retriever, but among my charges are various breeds and “non-breeds”, from the smallest to the largest. And you know what? I love them all and I am ready to help! Whether you are struggling with your pup’s obedience, or you are looking for a place for your furry friend to be taken care of, I am here for you!

Last but not least...

All this wouldn’t be possible without my husband Ian. He joined my team in 2017 to help me with our furry clients. He is a trustworthy dog walker, Pawsome & Fit Cab driver and a dog spoiler (within the limits :-)) .
