Simona, the head dog trainer at Pawsome & Fit, hails from Europe, where her love for dogs blossomed early on. Growing up surrounded by dogs ignited a deep, unwavering passion that led her to dedicate herself to understanding dog training, breeding, and all aspects of canine care.
A Life Dedicated to Dogs
Dedicating her life to dogs has been the most fulfilling journey Simona could have imagined. She finds immense joy in helping people unlock the unique bond they share with their dogs, guiding them towards a life of mutual understanding and joyful companionship. Through her career, she has built lasting relationships with countless dogs and their owners, many of whom have become cherished clients and lifelong friends.
The Pawsome & Fit Journey Begins
Simona’s professional journey began in 2010, where she honed her skills as a dog walker and sitter. Working with diverse packs of dogs demanded a deep understanding of canine social dynamics and the intricate tapestry of human-dog relationships. She gained invaluable experience and knowledge while working alongside renowned breeders and dog show judges, expanding her expertise and deepening her understanding of the canine world.
Moving from Europe to USA
Relocating to the USA opened a new chapter in Simona’s life, filled with exciting opportunities for growth and new experiences. She eagerly embraced the challenge of the Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) program offered by the University of Tennessee, successfully completing the rigorous coursework and further solidifying her expertise.
A Lifelong Learner
Simona’s passion for learning is an integral part of who she is. She remains dedicated to continuous professional development, consistently expanding her knowledge through regular attendance at seminars and training days both in the USA and her native Europe. These events cover a wide range of topics, from foundational obedience and advanced training techniques to addressing common behavioral challenges and finding effective solutions.

With unwavering dedication and a genuine love for every canine companion, she is ready to assist with any canine-related need, whether it’s overcoming obedience hurdles or finding the perfect care solution for your furry friend.
The Pawsome & Fit Team
Simona’s husband, Ian, joined the team in 2017, bringing his own unique blend of skills and enthusiasm. He is a trusted dog walker, a skilled Pawsome & Fit Cab driver, and, of course, a dedicated dog spoiler (within limits!). Together, they form a dynamic team, sharing a common passion for dogs and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
